TRANSPORT If you are travelling by train it's best to use Bodmin Parkway railway station as your base. Bodmin Parkway is on the main line, and most trains stop there. From Bodmin Parkway there is a Western
Greyhound bus service to/from Boscastle and a rail service to/from Looe.
If you are arriving by National
Express you should alight at Bodmin and travel onward to Boscastle using the Western Greyhound services shown below. Returning
from Looe, travel by train as far as Bodmin Parkway then take the Western Greyhound 555 back
to Bodmin. If you are using your own car - and you don't have a support driver
- it's still a good idea to use Bodmin Parkway as the base, leaving your car in the station car park and using the coach/rail
connections to/from Boscastle/Looe. Alternatively you can park in Boscastle Car Park or Looe's Millpool Car Park (longstay
charges payable), and do the public transport journey back again after the walk.

will bring you to the ford just below the car park. For northbound travellers a bearing of 329° from the summit of Rough
Tor will take you to the car park - simply follow the obvious track. The following morning, northbound
walkers should follow a bearing of 83° to rejoin the Way at gate A, while those heading south just follow the obvious
track (bearing 149° if you need one) to rejoin the Way on the summit of Rough Tor. The additional
distance incurred by the detour to Rough Tor Car Park is a short mile. Available B & B accommodation is as follows: Camelford (2 miles from Rough Tor car park) GR106837: For
